Terms of Service

VoltForge is a set of web-based calculators and references for engineers and panel builders who design industrial machine control systems. The tools return code-cited sizing answers for panel design and field electrical work — conductor sizing, overcurrent protection, motor and starter selection, enclosure heat, conduit fill, and related values. The tools are engineering design aids for UL 508A and NEC work only; they are not a substitute for professional engineering judgment and are not a design or consulting service.

Calculations are provided for reference. Rule data is compiled from public code references, and values may differ between editions or be affected by your specific installation conditions. You are responsible for verifying every result against the current licensed copy of the applicable standard (including NFPA 70 — the National Electrical Code — and UL 508A), and for having final designs reviewed and approved by a licensed professional engineer and the authority having jurisdiction.

VoltForge is provided "as is" without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Calculations may contain errors. You use the tools at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoltForge and its owner are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site, its calculators, or any designs based on their output.

All VoltForge calculators are free to use with no subscription and no account. Two optional, one-time payments are available, both processed by Stripe:

• Report unlock — $9.99 one-time. Unlimited report downloads and printing from every calculator, for life. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: there is no recurring charge, no renewal, and it never expires.
• Donation — $5, $10, or $25 optional. An optional gift to keep VoltForge free. Donations do not unlock any feature (everything is already free), and they are repeatable — you can donate again any time.

Because there is no account system, unlock status is verified by the email address used at checkout — on a new device you re-verify with that email and VoltForge checks with Stripe whether the one-time purchase was completed. Refunds for the report unlock are issued only at the owner's discretion and are handled manually by the business owner. Prices and terms may be updated with notice on this page.

The VoltForge name and logo, the site content, and the underlying software belong to the VoltForge business. You may use the site and its output for your own engineering work, but you may not copy the site, resell or redistribute calculator output at scale, or use the VoltForge name or logo without permission.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
